Second Annual SWVH Holiday Food Drive

Happy Holidays to our canine friends!

When it comes to the holidays, we often start to wonder about gifts and presents for family members and friends. Some however, aren’t  as fortunate and may not have either this year. Southwest Veterinary Hospital  is happy to announce our 2nd Annual Holiday food drive. We’ve heard  through the SPCA that all resident animals have been good this year and therefore have put together a Santa wish list. Please help support those less fortunate and bring any of the following to SWVH to make a donation:

Festive Felines

Bleach, comet, windex, dish soap, rags and sponges, paper towels, gauze, cotton balls, leashes, collars, toys, dog and cat treats, Friskies wet food, Kirkland dog food, peanut butter and cheese wiz (for kongs!) http://spcanevada.org/

In addition to helping the SPCA, we’re also reaching out to help 2-leggeds in the community by supporting the Evelyn Mount food drive.  Any imperishable foods such as canned or dried foods are requested. http://www.evelynmount.org/

2-leggers need food donations too!!

We appreciate your support of our hospital and in turn would be so grateful for any donations to our food drive to help give back to our community.

To thank you for your time and effort, any donations brought to our hospital until January 15th will be given a $10 SWVH reward to show our gratitude.

Happy Holidays from the The Doctors and Staff of Southwest Veterinary Hospital!!

    • Some dogs tolerate cheese whiz — but only in small quantities! Other healthier options are canned dog food, no-salt peanut butter or dog biscuits — but again only a small amount at a time. Freezing a kong with canned dog food can prolong your dogs interest in their kong!
